      My greatest hobbies are cycle touring, mountain biking and walking. I moved up to Scotland from Dorset many years ago to work as a reindeer herder in the Cairngorm Mountains, where I developed my interests for everything wild and Scottish, including my husband! Any free time we have we spend taking our dog out on all kinds of adventures, from canoeing to cycle touring, Scotland really is the perfect playground!

      “On my first visit to Scotland, I stayed a night in a remote mountain bothy, where I met a couple who were attempting Land’s End to John O’Groats…totally naked. It was quite a surprise, especially as I hadn’t seen a soul for the whole week! Having travelled a lot I know how much it means to have someone helping to make your ‘trip of a lifetime’ run smoothly, so I’m glad to be able to help with all the small operational details that can make all the difference. If I could leave on a trip today, it would have to be the Mountain Bike Coast to Coast, because I love to cycle and the route covers a great variety of landscapes across Scotland.”
