The West Highlands of Scotland is such a diverse and beautiful part of Scotland that I could happily spend my life in the hills and glens here! Whatever your interest and fitness level are, you will enjoy a walking holiday exploring this region.

I love watching wildlife and this region is 'Gavin Maxwell' territory, where the author made his home and kept otters. So the coastal walks are always good as we keep our eyes peeled for otters. In the sea, there is a good chance of seeing porpoises and perhaps even basking sharks or minke whales, especially if we take a boat trip while over on Skye.

Meanwhile, the wild and beautiful glens of Torridon are just a short distance away and a good location for seeing golden eagles
